Welcome to Mountain Monarchs of Alaska.

Mountain Monarchs Specializes in Trophy Dall Rams, Grizzly Bears, Alaska Peninsula Brown Bears, Alaskan-Yukon Moose, & Barren Ground Caribou. Mountain Monarchs of Alaska is owned and operated by Dave Leonard of the "Real Alaska." Dave and his team of hand-picked guides offer hunting & fishing opportunities second to none in all of North America. Booking concessions include the Central Arctic, the Western Arctic and the lower Alaska Peninsula. We are The Sheep and Bear Specialists of Alaska, offering the finest and most unique hunting opportunities in North America. Due to the remoteness of our Alaskan wilderness camps, we prefer to hunt from wall tents and expedition grade mountain shelters. With over three decades of Alaskan experience, I have come to know and understand the land and the habitat that provides refuge for the abundant wildlife we hunt in the “Heart of Big Game Country”. We are always
scouting and anticipating game movements to insure your hunt is The Premium Alaskan Adventure you had your sights on!

We respect the wildlife, the land, and each other. As a result we hunt hard, have fun, and enjoy a high hunting success rate. This can be attributed to a strong commitment to and from my Alaskan hunting guides as well as clients coupled with my experience, determination and understanding of Alaska and its diverse species and habitat. Your safety is our foremost concern and with that in mind, I feel privileged to be able to offer hunting adventures and a team of expert guides that are top notch and second to none anywhere.

When you are ready to book your trip, you can download the hunters information form to fill out and send it to me. This information increases my ability to custom tailor the best hunt for you. To assure yourself with the highest opportunity for success, prior training is highly recommended. Hunt preparedness, includes a thorough medical check up, a healthy diet, a cardio vascular workout routine and lots of shooting practice prone and offhand on paper as well as silhouettes. It is important that you bring the recommended gear and a good sense of humor, along with extra patience for those bad weather days . Remember to leave your stress behind because, once you arrive, we will be embarking on the

"Adventure of a Lifetime."

Please read all of my information for each specific hunt and talk with our past clients. I have participated in a good number of guided hunts and my guides and I treat our clients the way we would like to be treated on a guided hunt . With that in mind, I look forward to hearing from you so we can start planning your next Big Game Hunting & Fishing Expedition.
Yours In Great Hunting,
Dave Leonard
